Fun with Prednisone

  The doctor who selectively hears some of what I say decided to put me on prednisone for a week. You know, the 7 day countdown starting big. I have been having increasingly debilitating pain, over the last year, which is also causing severe swelling that is very very "uncomfortable" for lack of a better word. Seems like I have the weirdest conditions happen to me(medically)...but that's another story.

  I am on day 2 of the prednisone. WOW am I jittery! I'm talking a mile a minute. Still hurt a lot but feel like I should go run a mile or two. Called my friend earlier and couldn't shut up! Talked about nothing really but talked a LOT! I did get a few things done that I wanted to though. PROGRESS. Taking it for what it is, can't afford to hope it will last, can't afford NOT to think that it will! 

  I have eaten more today than I have in the last two weeks combined. That is all I need, I already feel fat enough! Now I have to feel bad that I ate so much, didn't eat things too bad for me though. No junk food. STEAK OMG I wanted STEAK!! Had to have STEAK! Did that. Now I want another one. Glad I only bought one! The idea keeps running through my head though to run to Wally World and buy another. Then I have to get a potato to bake too, and darn, I'm almost out of butter. A salad would be really good. I need Ranch to make at home for that. Sooo, if I run to the store and get what I'm thinking about.... there goes $50! OK can't do that!!

  I think prednisone could drive you crazy in a way. It does enable you to talk about nothing for a very long period of time. If you know someone who you usually can't talk and get a word in edgewise with... call them when on prednisone! You will win!

  This is going to be a difficult week.
